What’s today’s date?

Blur, blur, blur… It’s getting hard to keep track of time now. It feels like it’s been months already and it’s only been two days! Or three…

First day was the hardest. It felt like stepping in to a different dimension from my life, my family, my things, to the unknown. Got through it just fine when I finally got to meet the gang! Everyone is fantastic, charismatic and fun to be around. Thank GOD!

We met the Supernova crazy boys at the studio where they were recording a track and we were surprised with the challenge to improvise and lay down some vocals… WOW!

Got to be honest, at first I didn’t hear or feel the song at all, but it all came to me when my chance came up. Once I heard my version and everybody’s the track came to life! It sounded pretty good!

Busy, Busy, Busy. Lots of interviews and questions about our experiences. So, so tedious! But you have to know everything. Don’t you? It’s all good. The mansion is just amazing and full of so much stuff… I would hate to pack this house up for moving. Years and years of collecting. It has a great vibe.

Last night everybody gathered by the amazing pool, torches on fire! Beautiful. Some people started bringing the guitars up and the party was on. You couldn’t help but join the feast with a nice glass of wine.

It’s the next morning and.. now I hear voices and guitars through every wall, here in my bedroom. Sounds beautiful. There’s music coming from every room. It’s time to listen.

And your voice/accent does not appeal to the rocker crowd, believe me. You look like you are just trying to showcase yourself without any true interest in this band. If you are going to make at least a half hearted effort, take some fashion tips from Patrice, Dilana or Storm. As for your vocals, this band needs something more than you have to offer. Sorry! If you "ugly yourself up" a bit, you will show some versatility. What Dana did this week was great - follow her lead. Just don't change yourself so much that you look like you're selling yourself out and are totally catering to them. Get intense and ROCK OUT! Please keep the sincerety in your voice and the energy in your performance. Your goal should be to stay on this show as long as you can. I will vote for you alone for the next 4 hours. And to give you a summation of the situation, she had a lot of the attitude you had...it was a professor at my alma mater. (I am a college grad) From one musician to another--And I do say this with an apology in mind to some of the things I expressed--Be who you are-- but don't let your attitude get in the way of the person you really want to be. At times, trying too hard is a turn off to an audience and they see you as something you are not. It wasn't until afterwards I thought about my actions and words. You have such a strong presence and you demand attention when you walk into a room. But the secret for anyone to rock is to really be who they are. Take the things the judges say to you and channel them. They may be hard, but they are honest and truthful. I will admit that I have been fried by my professors when I was in college. I studied composing, piano, voice, orchestration and digital media in music. I am the 1st in my family to be where I am. I too, am of a different nationality.(you will find out when yousee my profile) Take in what they tell you no matter how hard it is to do so. It's okay to get out of your box, but don't lose yourself in the process. And please remember this: 1st you are a person...then you are a rocker. This will help others as well as yourself be more approchable to others. Whether you stay or go in this group, this I hope will at least help your star shine even more than before. 	Cathleen 发表: Zayra, You have a fabulous voice and a really strong stage presence. I would just like to make a suggestion. You need to do a serious wardrobe check. Talent and stage presence is the main thing, but you need to look the part, also. People (especially those who can get away with it like musicians) usually express themselves with their clothes, and your clothes do not say hard core rocker. You wouldn't expect to see the first violinist of the New York Philharmonic performing in jeans and a T-shirt, nor would you see Dolly Pardon with a mohawk. You need to dress more the part of a hard core rocker. Your outfits are beautiful, but you are not going out to dinner, you are trying to sing with former members of bands that usually went on stage wearing ripped jeans, leather, or stuff like that. I'm not saying you should try to dress like it's the 80's or 90's (please don't), but you're not looking very modern either. I don't think you should change who you are, but I think trying some different things with your look might show an open-mindedness that they are looking for. I'm really ot trying to dog you, I think that you have real talent and it is being hampered by your image. Try wearing something a little rougher, and not as nice.
